Primary and reinsurance rate increases have helped most of the big listed brokers to a quarter of strong and accelerating organic growth, but Willis has continued to underperform relative to its peers.
Reinsurance operations exhibited particularly strong growth on the back of rating improvements.
Marsh & McLennan Companies (MMC) continued to outpace its peers in the second quarter as it powered to organic growth of 6 percent, albeit it 1 percentage point lower than its stellar Q1 performance.
