Randall & Quilter (R&Q) is set to take the next step in building its fast-growing managing general agency (MGA) platform with a transfer of yacht business from Talbot Underwriting's London-based MGA, Underwriting Risk Services (URS).
It is understood that the expansive London insurance group and Validus-owned Talbot are in the final stages of negotiation concerning a transfer of URS's yacht and marine trades portfolio.
