PartnerRe adds fac unit in post-Paris reshuffle
PartnerRe announced a string of additional structural changes last week, following the closing of its acquisition of Paris Re. These include expanding its US and Canadian reinsurance division, PartnerRe global, to include a new facultative unit.
PartnerRe US will expand to include Canada business and will become PartnerRe North America, while PartnerRe's Canada operations - formerly part of the global P&C business unit - will become one business unit with the Paris Re Canada operations.
