Lloyd's syndicates have widened their forecast losses for the 2010 year during the past quarter as disaster claims have increased.
Based on the mid-points of the forecast percentage profit or loss on capacity, the overall projected loss has dipped to a loss of 3.8 percent of capacity as of the end of June, according to calculations by members' agent Argenta Private Capital.
This is a 1.4 percentage point deterioration from 2.4 percent of capacity at the end of March.
