The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) is on the search for a new CEO after announcing that Terri Vaughan is stepping down from the post in the first quarter of next year.
Vaughan, previously the longest-serving insurance commissioner of Iowa and a past NAIC president, is the association's primary representative and chief spokesperson in Washington D.C.
She is also responsible for overseeing its operations, including offices in Kansas City, New York and Washington D.C.
