After improving for three consecutive quarters, renewal rates across a number of lines of global commercial business flattened off in the third quarter.
In its quarterly global rates report, Marsh said that renewal rates were up 1.4 percent on average - the same increase registered in Q2 and just 0.2 percent higher than the first quarter figure.
The big three broker said that the new numbers show that renewal rate changes "may be stabilising".
Not all lines performed equally well...
