Spanish insurer Mapfre has taken a 100 percent stake in Mapfre Mundial, a holding company that makes up its Central American operations.
Mapfre announced on Monday (2 July) that it had acquired another 35 percent of Mapfre Mundial from Panama-based financial group Grupo Mundial for an undisclosed amount, effective from 30 June, to take full control of all its regional holdings in Central America.
