Combined losses from the Chilean earthquake through the Lloyd's platforms of Amlin, Hiscox and Catlin could reach as high as $300mn, The Insurance Insider understands.
A source close to Catlin said that the company anticipated that losses written through its Lloyd's business would account for two thirds of its total estimated loss.
The majority of Amlin and Hiscox's losses will also come
through their Lloyd's platforms, according to sources.
Other big contributors include Brit and Beazley.
