A US district judge has quashed a move by Lloyd's (re)insurers to dismiss a Florida property damage coverage dispute that has wide-ranging implications for surplus lines insurers in the state.
The class action names almost every managing agent at Lloyd's as a defendant, including all syndicates that provided property and casualty insurance for policies issued in Florida during the 2005-2006 period.
