Lloyd’s has $60mn exposure to Venezuelan gas rig
Lloyd's syndicates have almost $60mn of exposure to the Aban
Pearl gas rig loss off the coast of Venezuela, with Argenta leading
the slip, The Insurance Insider can
reveal.
Willis placed just over 95 percent of the $235mn reinsurance cover
for the Aban Pearl, but only a quarter of the risk was taken by
Lime Street.
Middle Eastern and Asian markets accepted the lion's share.
Argenta Syndicate 2121 wrote an 8.44 percent line and its exposure
is $18.9mn.
