Lloyd's has disclosed a preliminary loss estimate of $600mn for the outbreaks of tornadoes in the US throughout April and May.
CEO Richard Ward revealed the ultimate loss forecast as the Corporation reported a pre-tax loss of £697mn for the first six months of the year.
