Liberty Mutual continues reinsurance push with new appointments
Liberty Mutual has hired Richard Mairano from rival Ace Tempest Re to underwrite property treaty business.
Mairano will be based in the firm's new Stamford, Connecticut office - the home of the industry's largest direct reinsurer, General Re - and will be responsible for producing and underwriting programme, pro rata and per risk property treaty business.
