US insurers Liberty Mutual and USAA will issue catastrophe bonds in Q2, sister publication Trading Risk predicted last week.
Liberty Mutual is understood to be working on a US perils issuance - Mystic Re 2010 - while insurance linked-securities (ILS) stalwart USAA is understood to be planning its 2010 Residential Re issuance.
In all, three US wind bonds are due to come to the market together in April to provide much-needed ILS product for investors.
