If dancing swallows is one of the first signs of summer in England
then another is the annual legacy ritual of the Norwich
Rendez-Vous, which takes place between 7 and 9 June.
The event was initially a low-key gathering of (re)insurers to
negotiate early claims settlements for run-off companies
(commutations, in industry speak), but has mushroomed to become the
largest gathering of professionals involved in the sector. And,
once again, there is much to discuss.
