Broking house Windsor has agreed its sale to insurance distribution group Hyperion in a deal valuing the business at £95mn, as predicted by The Insurance Insider.
After the deal closes, Windsor CEO John Bennett will head up the London market operations of Hyperion's broking operations Howden, leading 450 staff.
The deal was funded with cash and new Hyperion stock, which is being issued to Windsor's management.
