A US judge has granted 19 hedge funds leave to re-submit their action against failed Bermudian reinsurer PXRE after he dismissed it on a technicality.
District Judge Richard Sullivan allowed Anegada Master Fund and 18 others to file a new version of their complaint against PXRE's successor, Argo Group, alleging that PXRE misrepresented the extent of its losses from hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
