Underwriters of directors' and officers' (D&O) insurance are facing up to $250mn of claims from the failed US broker MF Global, The Insurance Insider can reveal.
MF Global, once a leading broker in markets for commodities and listed derivatives, filed for bankruptcy on 31 October after a failed massive bet on Eurozone sovereign debt.
