Hardy latest to join Lloyd’s Asia platform

Hardy Underwriting is set to become the latest Lloyd's (re)insurer to underwrite through the Society's Singapore-based Asia platform.

The Bermuda-domiciled specialist (re)insurer announced that it has hired Richard Lim Ngak Kwan to head its proposed new underwriting venture in Asia.

The company added that it will shortly be making an application to the Monetary Authority of Singapore and Lloyd's to set up its underwriting on the platform, and hopes to begin writing business through Lloyd's Asia by 1 December 2010...
