Guy Carpenter has taken over the Caribbean Catastrophe Risk Insurance Facility (CCRIF) account from rival reinsurance broker Aon Benfield.
The MMC firm confirmed that it had been selected as the new placing broker for the risk pooling facility, which is designed to mitigate the financial impact of catastrophic hurricanes and earthquakes for its 16 member Caribbean governments.
