The total insured loss from the floods in Thailand could be in the region of $10bn, Guy Carpenter CEO Alex Moczarski said this morning (9 November).
Moczarski gave the provisional estimate in his speech to the Xchanging London Market Conference and joined the growing chorus of executives warning about the scale of the loss.
Late last month, Aspen Insurance CEO Chris O'Kane warned that the flooding could lead to insured losses of up to $10bn.
