The London market has a "huge opportunity" to make
itself the market of choice for the liability programmes of major
corporates and financial institutions, according to a senior Marsh
executive.
Matthew Rolph, who is head of placement for Marsh's financial
and professional lines business, said London can secure this
premier status if it can generate the capacity for major
catastrophic risks that the market is sorely lacking.
