Greenberg hires Lord Levene for Starr International role
Less than a year after stepping down as the chairman of Lloyd's, Lord Levene is to join Starr International Company, the P&C insurance group led by Maurice 'Hank' Greenberg.
Levene is to become a director of the Panama-domiciled group and has also been appointed vice chairman.
Greenberg - who built American International Group into an international powerhouse before leaving the firm unceremoniously in 2005 - paid tribute to Levene's nine years heading the Lloyd's market.
