Gen Re appoints new EMEA fac and Asia-Pac treaty managers
Pietro Toffanello, General Reinsurance Corporation (Gen Re)'s regional manager for Property Facultative Europe Middle East and Africa, has been promoted to manager of P&C Treaty for the Asia Pacific region and managing director of Gen Re Australia.
His current position will be filled by Martin Leitch, who has held management posts in London and Sydney since his appointment to the Berkshire Hathaway company in 2000.
Both appointments are effective from 1 January 2012.
