FSA’s Turner says European regulation should be flexible

UK Financial Services Authority (FSA) chairman Lord Adair Turner has called for a mix of "more Europe and less Europe" in policy response to the financial crisis, with the balance dependent on whether countries are in or out of the beleaguered Eurozone.

Speaking at the Central Bank of Ireland conference on financial regulation on 27 April, Lord Turner argued that more integration is needed fiscally in the Eurozone as well as for bank resolution.
