Expansive Bermudian run-off manager Enstar Group saw net earnings for the first six months of the year climb to $28.4mn, compared to $20.3mn in H1 2009.
The result was fuelled by an increase in consulting fees and investment income.
The group earned $17.6mn from consulting and $49.1mn from investments over the first half, against $7.5mn and $35.8mn respectively in the first six months of 2009.
