London market moderniser Barnabas Hurst-Bannister expects the much-anticipated electronic endorsement system to go live by September, as testing gets underway in earnest.
The project is designed to allow brokers to carry out endorsements electronically by exchanging structured, ACORD-standard messages with underwriters.
London Market Group (LMG) chairman Hurst-Bannister has now said that frontline users have started testing the electronic endorsement system.
He coupled this announcement with a commitment to take the system live within three months.
