Zurich Financial Services (ZFS) could delay the auction process for the expected disposal of its legacy UK insurer Eagle Star until the second quarter, according to market sources.
Eagle Star is thought to be one of the last "mega books" of asbestos pollution and health hazard (APH) legacy left in the London market, and the prospect of a sale has left a host of potential buyers salivating for a chance to bid.
