Do Jubilee changes signal Solvency II pressures?

The Insurance Insider is wary of immediately deducing market trends from notable events, but the sudden departure of Jubilee Group's CEO last month was intriguing because Clive Buesnel had been in the post for less than four months.

The received wisdom is that the former Xchanging executive left over a "difference of strategy" with the company's board, which includes former Conservative Party Treasurer (and erstwhile JLT reinsurance broker) Lord Marland and the ex-Southampton Football Club chairman Rupert Lowe.
