Dagmar could be third worst Norwegian storm of last 50 years

Norway's Meteorological Institute has described windstorm Dagmar, which ripped across Norway, Sweden and central Finland on Christmas Day as possibly the third worst windstorm to strike the country in the past 50 years.

The winter storm produced gusts reaching 145 mph and eventually dissipated on 27 December.

Dagmar has caused limited disruption to oil and gas output in the Nordic region, according to catastrophe modeling firm AIR Worldwide.
