Trading of Chaucer shares on the London Stock Exchange is likely to come to an end at close of business tomorrow (30 June) after a UK court gave the first of two necessary approvals to its £313mn takeover by US insurance group The Hanover.
In a London Stock Exchange announcement, Chaucer said the High Court of Justice for England and Wales had approved the scheme of arrangement being used to effect the takeover.
