American International Group (AIG) subsidiary Chartis International
is leading the directors' and officers' (D&O) coverage
for investment bank Goldman Sachs.
Chartis writes the "Side A" D&O cover taken out by
Goldman Sachs.
The Wall Street institution's D&O coverage is limited,
however, and is unlikely to be subject to a claim since insurers
are only obliged to pay out on "Side A" policies if a
company is close to collapse or insolvent.
