Brit has applied to delist from the London Stock Exchange after private equity buyout vehicle Achilles opted to make its offer wholly unconditional.
The Brit board said that it expects the last day of full trading for the shares to be 6 April.
The proposal will have to be supported by more than 75 percent of the (re)insurer's shareholding to delist successfully.
