Niche UK venture capital firm BP Marsh's profits for the year to 31 January 2010 climbed to £3mn from just £0.1mn the previous year, as its stake in Hyperion continued to deliver.
London market intermediary Hyperion increased its revenues by 26 percent and its Ebitda by 41 percent in 2009/10, BP Marsh said.
Accordingly, its stake rose in value by 16.2 percent to £29.4mn. The company's initial investment in 1994 was just £25,000.
