BMS targets US growth with New York office and CEO relocation

Independent broker BMS has opened a New York City office and relocated group CEO Carl Beardmore there as it continues to grow its North American reinsurance business.

According to the firm, which was founded as a London market broker in 1980, Beardmore will now spend the majority of his time in the US, with executive vice president Larry Cantwell acting as lead producer out of the new office.
