Insider Week      Swiss Re doubles size of two cat bonds to $195mn

ILS pioneer Swiss Re has increased the size of its Vita IV extreme mortality cat bond to $75mn and its Successor X US wind and quake transaction up to $120mn, due to investor demand.

The firm has increased the target for Successor X – its one-year US wind and quake cat bond – up to $120mn from its original size of just $50mn, our sister publication Trading Risk understands.
