Private equity houses Apollo and CVC have completed the exercise to
syndicate the ownership of Brit Insurance.
The Insurance Insider revealed in May that Apollo and
CVC planned to sell down a portion of their Brit stakes and it is
now understood that the process has been carried to its conclusion.
In March, Apollo-CVC closed the £880mn buy-out of Brit, delisting the (re)insurer from the London Stock Exchange in the process.
It was the largest buy-out of a Lloyd's insurer...
