Aon retains Prudential deal despite broker walkout to JLT

Aon has held onto its key directors and officers (D&O) contract with insurer Prudential despite senior members of its Financial Services Group (FSG) moving to rival Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT), The Insurance Insider has learnt.

There had been concern that the exodus would lead to a loss of business, but the crucial contract to cover the management of the $15bn market cap insurer has been retained. No news has emerged about the other major contracts brokered by the departing staff...
