Aon withstood the impact of another quarter of negative organic growth from its reinsurance arm, to record a 3 percent overall increase in organic broking revenues.
The motor of growth was Aon's retail business which recorded organic growth of 4 percent to hit quarterly revenues of $1.24bn.
Organic growth was achieved both in the Americas (4 percent) and in the international segment (4 percent), where Asia and New Zealand were the standout markets.
