Aon has responded to contractors of the Kleen Energy gas and oil-fired plant who claim the broker procured insufficient defence coverage for their joint $51mn insurance programme.
The broking giant said the plaintiffs had failed to present sufficient facts to show any violation of law had occurred or that they were entitled to damages, according to a 1 August memorandum arguing why the case should be dropped.
