AmWins and Ryan Specialty reach uneasy deal

US broker AmWins has reached an uneasy court-ordered truce with Patrick Ryan's start-up Ryan Specialty Group (RSG) and its new wholesale broking arm R-T Specialty over litigation sparked by a defecting broker.

But The Insurance Insider understands that AmWins still intends to pursue RSG for the damages it claims to have suffered.
