Amlin's share price dived by more 16 percent after it released a profits warning provoked by the increase in Suncorp's New Zealand II claim and the continued underperformance of ACI.
The Charles Philipps-led carrier disclosed this afternoon (2 August) that these factors had sharply hit first-half earnings and meant that its result would now be £65mn weaker than previous expectations.
