Rating agency AM Best has affirmed the ratings on Atrium Underwriters' Lloyd's syndicates 570 and 609 ahead of their merger next year.
Atrium is a subsidiary of Bermuda-based Ariel Holdings.
The merged capacity of the A rated syndicates will remain stable at £420mn next year, reflecting the expectation that market conditions will not materially improve for many of its lines of business.
