Allied World to build out US construction platform
Allied World Assurance Company has launched a new primary construction casualty division out of its US insurance platform.
The company has taken Michael Conroy from AIG to oversee the build-out of the division out of its New York office as vice president of construction, reporting to Lou Iglesias, president of US P&C.
The Swiss-domiciled (re)insurer said the unit will offer new lines including commercial general liability and commercial auto, as well as railroad protective and owners & contractors protective covers...
