American International Group (AIG) has confirmed that its directors' and officers' (D&O) insurers, including lead Great American, have agreed to pay $150mn to help settle shareholder claims against the company.
The Insurance Insider revealed details of the company's D&O programme in August.
Last week, AIG confirmed that the insurers had authorised the
disbursement of the monies in November.
The US insurer will receive $90mn and a further $60mn will go to
cover the defence costs of former directors, including erstwhile...
