Global insurer Ace is thought to lead the cover for the insurance policy on Ethiopian Airlines flight 409, which crashed into the water off Lebanon's south coast five minutes after take-off at 00:30 GMT this morning (25 January).
And The Insurance Insider understands
that Aon is the broker for the policy covering the Boeing 737-800.
The cause of the crash has not yet been confirmed but Lebanon's
president, Michal Sleiman, said he did not think it was a terrorist
attack...
