US insurer and Omega suitor Delphi Financial Group reported first quarter operating earnings of $51.5mn, up 11 percent year-on-year.
Delphi, which operates as life and benefits insurer Reliance Standard and workers compensation insurer Safety National St Louis, lifted net income by 38 percent to $50.2mn from the same period of 2010.
The firm also grew shareholders' equity by 4 percent to $1.59bn during the quarter.
