The new UK chancellor George Osborne has hinted that the coalition
government would not dampen the Conservatives' commitment to
scrutinise a tax policy paper prepared by The Insurance
Insider's London 100 group.
Earlier this year the London 100 - which brings together the 100
most influential insurance figures in the London market -
collaborated with Ernst & Young to produce a tax policy paper.
It urged the government to introduce a tax exemption for
UK-controlled foreign (re)insurance companies, as well...
