Broker Willis Group has appointed former GCFac's Latin American operations, Hugh Powell, as CEO of Willis Facultative in Latin America, in a move first revealed by our sister publication Inside Fac.

Powell will join the executive committee of Willis Facultative, chaired by Jason Howard who, while remaining CEO of Willis Re International and Specialty, will become executive chairman of Willis Facultative.

Powell joins Willis from Guy Carpenter, where he headed up the Latin America Facultative operation.
