Pamplona Capital Management, the pan-european private equity house and hedge fund, has joined the firms looking at takeover-target Chaucer Holdings, The Insurance Insider can reveal.
Pamplona is the first private equity firm to be identified with the up-for-sale Lloyd's insurer and joins Novae Group, Amlin plc and Brit Insurance in having indicated an interest in the firm.
