Guy Carpenter motors with RBS account win from Aon Benfield

Guy Carpenter has made significant inroads into the Aon Benfield-dominated UK motor reinsurance market, after taking the RBS Insurance motor account from its larger rival last month.

RBS Insurance - the general insurance arm of part-nationalised banking giant Royal Bank of Scotland - is the UK's largest motor insurer and also has 2.5 million motor policies internationally, holding the number one and number three position in the Italian and German direct markets respectively.
